1 M Tris-HCl Buffer Solution, pH 8.0

Reagents

• Tris (CAS 77-86-1)
  • 121.14 g/mol
• HCl 36.5-38% Solution (CAS 7647-01-0)

Procedure

Per 100 mL

1. Add 12.114 g Tris to 80 mL of pure nuclease free water
2. Add HCl solution until desired pH is achieved, ~4.2 mL
3. Bring volume to 100 mL with pure nuclease free water
